Many times we read in God's Word that His people sang a new song. Two thousand years later and we've been left to write our own new songs. Do you have the lyrics and the talent to beat the rest?   See for example Psalms 33, 40, 96, 98, 144, 149, Isaiah 42 and Revelation 5
 
Left to Write is a place for New Songs to be heard. An intimate venue with a small audience will give you the chance to turn your lyrics into a song that will be sung across our district for years to come.

There are very few rules. Make sure the song is your own original work. Any style of music with a Christian theme is acceptable. Don't worry too much about a band: It's your lyrical content and melody that'll be judged . . . you can worry about organising a good band once you've won the competition and you've got your recording studio time!

If you plan to enter then fill out the Contact Form and give us your email address. We'll need the name of your song by the end of August for it to be included in the competition which will take place on the evening of Saturday 20th September 2008 in the central belt of Scotland.
