EVENTS GALLERYOverview Our very own "Band of Brothers" left for a weekend in Helensburgh during May 2006. The guest speaker was Dick Porter - a dear friend and brother who brought a series of studies to us over the weekend on the topic "God's plan for us in Creation". As we read from Genisis to Revelation our eyes were opened to the depth of God's love, the vastness of His power, and the selfless nature of God as He gives both of them to us. We discovered a new "boldness" which is allowing us to fulfill God's will in every situation. Our weekend had barely started when our boldness was put to the test as many of our group were healed of physical and spiritual illness as we prayed for them. Two of our men give their accounts:
Chris Ross This was a weekend of great teaching and great blessing. I learned to listen to God, but more importantly, I learned to act on what I have heard. I have been reminded of the immense power we have in God, and the immense grace of God towards us. I have witnessed miracles first hand . . . and I am hungry to see more.
Jimmy Faulds My name is James Faulds. Born and raised in the East End of Glasgow. Just thinking of Helensburgh for 2 days is great! To be part of this Band of Brothers - and a personal experience of Jesus Christ - has had a life changing experience on me. Not only had I the pleasure of a relaxing few days, but, under the annointed ministry of a dear friend and brother, Dick Porter, I was to be relieved of pain and disability after more than 10 years of suffering - it's a miracle. Praise the Lord! I was taken somewhat by surprise on Saturday evening (Session 3 - New Creation - The Ultimate) when Chris Ross with pounding heart and great faith spoke my name. [Faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Faith like a mustard seed that moved a mountain] Sitting there in deep prayer while Chris and Dick laid hands on me I was instantly relieved of pain! Have I words or a story to explain this? No . . . there are none! Pain and Paralysis are gone! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord - The Lord God Almighty!
