SS Ministries Convention provides opportunity for Worship, Prayer, Praise and Celebration as over one hundred and twenty people from all over the British Isles North District joined in singing Reginald Heber’s hymn ‘Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty!’ to start the SS Ministries Convention held on 18 March 2006.

The convention continued with a note of thanks and praise for God’s leading and guiding during another year of ministry, people spontaneously stood to worship as they sang ‘Outrageous Grace!’. Leaders brought highlights from the Sports, Women’s, Children’s Quizzing, Camp and Mission Excellence Ministries. Another stimulating highlight of the convention was Lucy Hedges live ‘See and Know’ presentation. With the help of colleagues and ‘real’ children Lucy related first hand in a dynamic way how ‘See and Know’ provides effective Parent and Toddler Ministry in the Houston local church.

People were blessed and greatly encouraged through Lynn McClean Birkinshaw’s closing address. Lynn shared on a personal level how people in SS Ministries influenced her journey through life, bringing her to faith in Christ, and how the Church now continues to give her a place of service for the Kingdom.
