British Isles North District
A holiday to share
Faith, friendship and a few days away together.
Northbreak is a Christian holiday for all ages: worship, fun, good food and time to relax, with friends old and new. Come and spend a few days away with the Nazarene church family.
The holiday
What’s Northbreak like?
It’s a mix of worship, friendship and fun, shared across the generations. There’s a programme to join in with, and plenty of time just to enjoy being together.
Worship together
We meet for worship, prayer and Bible teaching, with space to grow in faith and encourage each other.
Time together
Shared meals, chats over a cuppa and relaxed time around the site are as much a part of Northbreak as the programme.
Fun for all ages
Games, creative activities and evening entertainment bring everyone together, and there’s plenty going on for children and young people too.

First time? You don’t need to know the traditions or recognise anyone. Our welcome team will help you settle in.

A typical day
What a day looks like
Here’s how a day looked at Northbreak 2026. The programme changes a bit each year.
Morning
Start with breakfast and, if you like, early morning prayers. Then it’s Good Morning World, a light-hearted start to the day with news for everyone. After that there’s teaching, children’s activities and time for a coffee and a chat.
Afternoon
Afternoons vary. Depending on the day there might be workshops, a trip out, Northbreak Day, or simply free time to enjoy the surroundings.
Evening
After dinner we come together for worship and teaching. Then the Fringe takes over, with games, quizzes, café nights and time with friends.

Northbreak Day and evenings
Make room for some fun
Northbreak Day has a real festival feel. In past years we’ve had a silent disco, a ceilidh, lawn games and a colour run, and evenings have included quizzes, games and the Good Vibes Café. Every year’s a bit different.

Children and youth
Something for every age
Children and young people are a big part of Northbreak, with their own activities alongside everything we do together.
Kids Club for primary-age children has crafts, games, songs and Bible stories. There’s a youth programme with a late-night hangout space, and a crèche for the little ones.
Coming without children? You’re just as welcome.
Under-18s come with a parent, guardian or another responsible adult, as set out in the booking conditions. Children’s and youth sessions don’t replace that adult’s overall responsibility.
